Important Documentation
Before your surgery, you will receive and must sign the full Cervantes Bariatrics Patient Agreement Form. Below is a summary of the key points. Please read the full document carefully and prepare to initial each section upon arrival.
Medical Accuracy
All health information provided must be accurate and complete. Intentional omissions or inaccuracies may result in cancellation and loss of deposit.
Pre-Op Compliance
Failure to follow pre-operative instructions given by medical staff may result in surgery cancellation and loss of the full amount paid.
Travel Flexibility
Purchase airline tickets without restrictions where possible. Your discharge date is approximate — Dr. Cervantes may request an extended stay if medically indicated.
Return Documents
Carry valid government-issued ID for U.S. re-entry (passport, or driver's license + Social Security card or birth certificate).
Companion Policy
One companion permitted in the hospital room. Children under 16 are not permitted in hospital rooms.
Financial Responsibility
Fees do not include personal items or companion needs. Bring cash for tips and personal expenses.
Informed Consent
All surgeries carry risk including complications and, in rare cases, death. Your decision is voluntary and no outcomes are guaranteed.
Legal Jurisdiction
Any disputes related to surgery or medical liability fall under Mexican Judicial System jurisdiction.
Getting Here
You will fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN). Our private driver will pick you up directly from the airport and transport you to Centro Médico Premier in Tijuana — just minutes from the border. You may bring one companion who will stay with you throughout.

- Alcohol pads (to remove adhesive from incision sites)

A $500 deposit is required within 7 days of scheduling your surgery date.
The deposit is non-refundable but transferable (with minimum 6 weeks' notice).
Balance is due in cash on the day of surgery, or financed through an approved medical loan company.
Always include your Name, Procedure, and Surgery Date in the payment memo.
Send proof of payment (screenshot) to your coordinator immediately.
